About
I am Professor of Technology and Public Health at SUPSI and Associate Researcher at Nuffield College (University of Oxford). Working at the intersection of demography, economics, and population health, I investigate how human lives are shaped by care, social relationships, and the environments in which we live.
My research brings together behavioural, demographic, and biological perspectives to understand how people respond to vulnerability, adapt to changing circumstances, and navigate inequalities across the life course.
At the heart of my work is a fundamental question: how do our relationships and responsibilities shape who we become, how healthy we are, and how societies function?
